Play.
Our classrooms and daily schedules promote children to learn through play.
Research shows that children’s brains are wired to learn more effectively through playful activities. We have centers that allow children to build, create, use their imaginations, explore, experiment and engage with others. Our teachers teach lessons that involve playfulness, music, songs and being silly. We know life is more fun when it is playful and so is learning!
Classroom centers such as dramatic play, building and science, our playground, and other activities offer our students a variety of options to be involved in the type of play they enjoy. Playing outside is important to us! Our students play outside twice each day for fresh air, space to run and climb and play games with their friends.
Art is a daily part of our curriculum. In our hallways, you'll find students' art proudly hung up at every corner. Join us for our annual art show in the Spring!
Schedule a time to visit and explore our classrooms.

Love.
We build strong and respectful relationships.
Empathy
Friendship
Working Together
Communication
Through a sense of belonging to a school family, children feel safe, loved and are ready to learn. Connections between teachers and students, students to students, and teachers to parents is what makes our school family. We build these connections every day.
Each student has a job in the classroom so they can provide meaningful service to their school family and this fosters a sense of unity and pride.
Strong, respectful relationships allows students to feel safe in the classroom. They know their teachers are here to keep them safe, to love them, and to help them be helpful members of the school family.
We love to celebrate our school family with events throughout the year. Such as our Back-to-School Night, Thanksgiving Potluck, Art Show, Pre-K Graduation Celebration, and Family Hike at Rock Bridge State Park.
Conscious Discipline
We believe the relationship between science and brain development is so important that we employ Conscious Discipline techniques. These techniques help children self-regulate and achieve emotional intelligence, recognizing and processing their feelings in a healthy way. Childen go into the community being able to regulate their emotions and accept “no”.
Learn.
We help your child prepare for kindergarten and beyond.
Young children are learning every second from all around them.
We take our jobs as brain-builders very seriously. We model how to handle frustrations, mistakes, successes and how to be safe, helpful and kind.
We teach skills that equip our students with life-long skills and skills to prepare them for Kindergarten.
